My face looked skinny, so I took a picture :P

I apologize for not keeping the blog up. I’m student teaching and getting ready to graduate so my brain is kind of exploding. That, and there’s not really much to talk about. I started eating on campus again for lunch and dinner because I have to get rid of my meal plan and gained 7lbs. Whomp. But I’m moving back home where I make my own meals and go to an awesome gym. Things will get interesting again real soon. Stay tuned :)

Alas, it’s not showing anywhere near me and both dates are on school nights which have become anti-social nights thanks to my new teacher status.

Hopefully I’ll be able to catch it online somewhere.

200.6 LBS!!!

I AM .4 LBS AWAY FROM KISSING THE 200’s GOODBYE FOREVER!!! WEEEEEEE!!!!!

Total weight loss of 33.6 lbs. I have never lost this much weight. Ever. I also haven’t weighed this little since I was 18 or 19. 

AND I’M STILL GOING. 190’s, hope to see you soon!

Fun things happened today!!

  1. I got accepted into the graduate music education program at Boston University :D
  2. The pair of shorts that I wore constantly last summer are officially too big for me :D
  3. The pair of shorts that bought last summer but never wore because they were too small officially fit me :D

Thirty. One. Pounds.

This is what happens when your scale breaks. I have no idea when this happened, but I went home this weekend to a functioning scale, stepped on it this morning, and saw this. 

What. Even.

The most I have ever lost before is 22lbs. I have now surpassed that by 9lbs. I also haven’t been the weight that I am now in about 2, maybe 3 years. 

I don’t even know how to react right now. If I hadn’t had such a shitty weekend, I might be jumping up and down right now, but I am currently to emotionally exhausted to do that (long story, don’t ask). I’m thrilled, just not tangibly so. How anticlimactic. 

Go me, I guess :)

I moved up a notch in my belt.

I don’t know if it’s because my belt is stretching or that I’ve lost weight. I haven’t been able to weigh myself for a month or so because my scale is broken. I feel like I’ve lost weight. I think. 

I need to buy a new scale.

Went to the gym today :)

It was wonderful. 30 minutes on the elliptical, 15 minutes on the stairmaster, and 15 minutes power walking on the treadmill. It’s been so long since I’ve worked out and I forgot how good it feels when you’re done.

Accomplishment of the day: I RAN ON THE TREADMILL FOR 3 WHOLE MINUTES!! I know this doesn’t sound like a lot, but I don’t run. Ever. I actually hate running, especially on a treadmill. But I was feeling adventurous today so I decided to see how long I could go for. I’m pretty satisfied. 

AND I walked into 50 degree weather (fahrenheit) when I was done. It was glorious. I drove home with the windows down.

Today is a good day :)
