February goal: into the 180s by the end of the month.

Some rules that I would put in based on the class that I had today:
If you can believe it, these “rules” were all broken by one woman who was standing in front of me (after I moved back because she decided to stand right next to me) at Zumba. She didn’t move. The whole time. I made the most of my situation and still got a good work out, but next week I’m moving to the other side of the studio.
That aside, this was my first free Saturday morning (and therefore my first Zumba class) in like two months. It felt great :D
I don’t think that has ever happened ever. I only lost .6lbs, but the cooking activities at camp this week were a little on the decadent side so it really wasn’t a surprise.
I’m really gonna bunker down this week and stick with eating healthy. We’ll see what happens!

The one thing I hate about going back to the gym after a long period of time. I did a whole bunch of crunches at the gym on Tuesday and my upper abdomen has been crazy sore ever since. My hips aren’t doing so hot either, but it’s my abs that are putting a cramp in my style (pun totally intended).
I’m having a hard time deciding whether I should work out today. I don’t know if it will be fine, or if my abs will just make it miserable.
What do you think, tumblr? How much pain is too much pain to work out?
Not amused.
THE HIATUS IS OVER! Summer 2012 is in full swing and I am more than ready to get back into the weight loss state of mind.
The game plan:
Food
Exercise
Motivation
So that’s the plan. I went to my first Zumba class of the summer this morning and I really liked it. I might have to double up on the sports bras and find tighter shirts though. Too much jiggling that I would rather not experience while trying to get my salsa on. Other than that though, totally excited to take more classes.
20 LBS BY SEPTEMBER!! LET’S DO THIS!!
I’m not the type of person that can just do cardio for hours without distractions… and unfortunately music just doesn’t cut it for me anymore.
The only way I can go on the elliptical for 45 minutes - 1 hour every other day is because I watch netflix on my ipad while I’m doing it, I almost forget that I’m working out <3
I think it would have made a world of difference if I could get some sort of 4G Netflix when I used to workout at a gym. I could ride an exercise bike for ages if I didn’t get so bored.
Ugh I wish this worked for me. Whenever I watch movies or television shows when I’m on the elliptical I get distracted by it and don’t go nearly as fast as I could/should be going. It sucks because I do get bored :/
